Every upgrade provides a tangible benefit and is tied to in-game resources earned through active gameplay.

All upgrades are permanent and are unlocked and improved using resources obtained from mining. This directly connects time spent in the game to long-term character growth. *** ### Upgrade System Overview Upgrades are managed from the Home screen and apply directly to Ponx.\ Each upgrade has: * a level, * a resource cost, * and in some cases a minimum character level requirement. As upgrade levels increase, their cost rises, forcing players to make strategic decisions between selling resources on the Market and investing in character progression. *** ### Movement Speed Movement Speed determines how fast Ponx moves across the world, inside the Mine, and during Arena encounters. * Each upgrade increases movement speed by +25%. * Faster movement significantly reduces travel time between rocks. * Over long sessions, this greatly increases total mining efficiency.

Movement speed is also critical in the Arena. While fighting monsters, Ponx regenerates HP while moving, meaning higher speed allows players to kite enemies more effectively, recover health faster, and survive longer encounters. *** ### Mining Success & Resource Quality Mining-related upgrades are split into two progression phases: * First 5 upgrades\ Each level increases overall mining success by +5%, improving general drop efficiency. * Next 5 upgrades\ These upgrades increase the chance of obtaining Gold ingots, directly boosting access to the highest-value resource in the game.

This system rewards early investment with consistency and later investment with higher-value drops, making mining progression one of the most impactful paths for long-term earnings. *** ### Backpack Capacity Backpack Capacity determines how many resources Ponx can carry at once. * Each upgrade increases capacity by +50 slots. * Larger backpacks allow longer mining sessions without interruptions. * This upgrade is essential for players aiming to fully utilize daily mining limits. More capacity means fewer forced exits from the Mine and smoother participation in Market windows. *** ### Sword Upgrade (Combat) The Sword upgrade affects Ponx’s combat power in the Arena. * Each upgrade increases attack power by +3 attack. * Higher attack allows faster monster kills and safer Arena progression. * Combat upgrades become increasingly important as players face stronger enemies.
